About The Position

Responsibilities will include installing, servicing, and repairing pedestrian power/automated doors and glass panels, and ensuring service is completed efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate may also assist with outside sales.

Requirements

Highschool Diploma or Equivalency
2 to 3 years’ experience installing and servicing pedestrian power doors
Stable background in glass installation industry and knowledge of power doors
Valid driver’s license required
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Customer service orientation and strong work ethics
Ability to work hard with an eye for quality
Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds regularly.

Nice To Haves

Experience in outside sales is a plus
AAADM certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Installing, servicing, and repairing pedestrian power/automated doors and glass panels.
Ensuring service is completed efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Assisting with outside sales.
Using electrical, mechanical, and electronic skills; knowledge and understanding of products, power and hand tools to complete required service and repair tasks.
Driving to the jobsite to assess customer's service/repair needs and complete repair of the product to the customer's satisfaction.
Consistently seeking and promoting opportunities for service, sales, and preventative maintenance contracts.
Acquiring knowledge of all products and pricing to price, market, and sell replacement products and repair parts.
Developing mechanical skills, learning new techniques, and remaining current with product requirements for installation materials to meet safety specifications and maintain quality workmanship.
Ensuring that service-related docs and timesheets are completed and submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
Collecting COD's when applicable; solving problems with collections or scope of work changes.
Maintaining inventory on truck.
Knowing all parts, part numbers, and part descriptions.
Other duties as assigned.
