About The Position

CIT Trucks, LLC is hiring a 2nd Shift Service Foreman to supervise diesel service work. The foreman assigns work to Diesel Service Technicians, communicates repair status to customers, organizes competing priorities and deadlines, develops technicians’ knowledge and skills with heavy- and medium-duty vehicles, and inspects completed repairs. The role requires willingness and ability to work second shift.

Requirements

Must be able and willing to work second-shift hours.
High school diploma or GED required.
Diesel technology degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of industry experience is preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and DOT medical card.
Comprehension of basic software applications related to diagnostics, engine parameters, and product preference guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Agricultural or mechanical background is beneficial.
At least 3 years of industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and assign work to Diesel Service Technicians.
Communicate with customers and update them on repair status.
Handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
Develop technicians’ knowledge and skills related to heavy- and medium-duty vehicles.
Inspect completed repairs.
