About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware. The position also includes rack-and-stack tasks, server installation, cabling, component swaps, and hardware configuration. You will troubleshoot issues related to server hardware, BIOS/firmware, operating systems, and hardware diagnostics, as well as perform firmware and BIOS updates and utilize server management tools like Dell iDRAC. The role encompasses both reactive break/fix and preventive maintenance, requiring you to isolate hardware failures using documented procedures and technical resources. You will work directly with customers and internal technical teams, documenting service activities, hardware replacements, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. Escalation of complex technical issues and participation in on-call rotations are also part of the responsibilities.
