About The Position

Atlantic Constructors (ACI) is seeking a dynamic, motivated, career-minded Service Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial or industrial environments. The role ensures that work complies with relevant electrical codes. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work may involve multiple job sites and travel, typically not overnight. Final compensation is determined by experience, education, licensure, skills, and other relevant factors. Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an electrical field in a commercial or industrial environment, or an equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
• Ability to multitask, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, pay attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems.
• Must adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Must be available and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned.
• Must correctly identify all colors of color-coded cables or wires.
• Must have close and distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to perform physical duties that may include working aloft, climbing, bending, pulling, reaching overhead, standing or walking for long periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Journeyman's license.
• Prior military experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure system compatibility and safety.
• Use tools and equipment including power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
