About The Position

As a Service Drive Porter, you’ll be responsible for providing excellent customer service by safely operating customer and dealership vehicles. This includes transporting customers, organizing vehicle inventory, prepping vehicles for sale, and assisting in maintaining a clean and efficient service drive.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in an automotive dealership or service-related role
  • Demonstrated ability to operate motor vehicles safely
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport service customers to and from the dealership
  • Greet customers in the service drive and provide professional assistance
  • Support Assistant Service Manager with day-to-day service drive tasks
  • Tag and organize vehicle keys and place floor mats in vehicles
  • Check in, park, and organize new vehicle deliveries
  • Wash and wax new and serviced vehicles; dress tires for showroom-ready look
  • Move serviced vehicles to designated pickup areas
  • Assist Detail team with vehicle prep, gas fill-ups, and general cleaning
  • Maintain a clean and organized service area (sweeping, trash removal, etc.)
  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management
  • Travel locally as needed for business operations
  • Provide “World Class Customer Service” to all customers and team members
  • Engage in ongoing process improvements
  • Represent and uphold Romain’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values
  • Attend required training to develop professional skills (minimum 10 hours annually)
