About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global leader in lift truck manufacturing, is seeking a Service Dispatcher to manage service repairs and technician dispatch. This role involves scheduling service repairs and dispatching field service technicians to customer locations, ensuring timely completion of planned maintenance. The dispatcher will receive and process service requests, enter information into the computer system, and assist with related paperwork and reporting. Additional duties may include registering service vans, scheduling rental fleet maintenance, coordinating delivery trucks, and liaising with outside vendors.

Requirements

Less than 2 years related experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Excellent phone skills
Good communication, organizational, math and computer skills
Experience with Microsoft Office
Leadership skills, technical experience and knowledge a plus
Ability to multitask
Familiarity with the service territory.

Responsibilities

Schedule service repairs and dispatch field service technicians to customer locations for service based on location, skill level of the technicians, and facility response guidelines.
Schedule and dispatch planned maintenance to ensure timely completion.
Receive service requests from customers and coworkers.
Enter information into the computer.
Assist with paperwork and prepare reports.
May handle registering service vans, scheduling maintenance for the rental fleet, scheduling delivery trucks, and coordination of services with outside vendors.
