SERVICE DESK ASSOCIATE
About The Position
Service Desk Associates are front-service associates who help ensure customer satisfaction at Hansen’s IGA Markets. They greet customers, answer questions, provide carryout service, and help customers locate products. Success in the role requires a desire to help others, take on new responsibilities, and learn the company’s high standards. The position is based at the front end of the store and involves ongoing interaction with customers and fellow associates. Associates may be exposed to temperature changes from outside weather conditions and perform physical tasks including repetitive arm and hand movements, lifting, standing, bending, and walking.
Requirements
- Be at least 14 years of age.
- Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
- Ability to interpret and follow instructions.

Responsibilities
- Provide premier customer service, including greeting customers and answering questions.
- Bag groceries.
- Take customer carts to the parking lot and unload groceries into customer vehicles.
- Carry bags to customer vehicles when necessary.
- Help customers locate products throughout the store.
- Restock bags.
- Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot.
- Assist with cleaning duties as assigned.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
