This is a part-time hourly position offering a comprehensive benefits package. Service Deli Clerks are responsible for preparing, slicing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising a variety of deli products, including meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, and hot case items. They also inform customers about products and services, increase sales through food sampling and recommendations, operate equipment such as fryers and slicers, and use store intercoms for promotions.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must have TB Clearance.
- Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities
- Preparing, slicing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising deli products (deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, gourmet and hot case items).
- Informing customers about deli products and services.
- Increasing sales by handing out food samples and recommending additional items.
- Working with equipment like fryers and slicers.
- Using store intercoms to announce special promotions and weekly specials.
