About The Position

Our client is a growing RV repair and collision operation looking to add a Service Coordinator to support daily shop operations, customer communication, scheduling, and administrative workflow. This role is ideal for someone who has strong customer service skills, understands the importance of follow-through, and can help keep repair jobs moving through the shop efficiently. The Service Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for customers, insurance companies, vendors, and internal team members. This position supports the service and collision repair process by helping manage customer updates, scheduling, claim-related communication, documentation, and front-office coordination. This role is similar to a collision center CSR, service advisor assistant, or front-office coordinator. The right person will be organized, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy shop environment.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in an RV shop, collision center, automotive service department, dealership, or repair facility preferred
  • Experience with insurance claims, repair orders, estimates, or customer repair updates is strongly preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple open repair files
  • Comfortable speaking with customers, insurance companies, vendors, and internal team members
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn shop management systems
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and serve as a professional first point of contact for the shop
  • Answer incoming calls, emails, and customer inquiries
  • Schedule estimates, drop-offs, inspections, repairs, and customer pick-ups
  • Provide regular updates to customers throughout the repair process
  • Assist with insurance claim communication and documentation
  • Help track claim status, supplements, approvals, and repair authorizations
  • Coordinate with estimators, service managers, technicians, parts, and vendors to support shop workflow
  • Maintain accurate customer records, repair notes, claim details, and job updates
  • Follow up with customers, insurance adjusters, and internal team members as needed
  • Help ensure repair files are complete and organized
  • Support parts, scheduling, and production communication as needed
  • Assist with general front-office duties, including filing, scanning, data entry, and customer paperwork
  • Help create a smooth customer experience from first contact through final delivery
