General Responsibilities of the Early Intervention Service Coordinator: The Service Coordinator acts as a liaison between the program staff, families, the M-DCPS Pre-K Exceptional Student Education department, and the local Early Steps program. The key responsibilities are tours and enrollments of potential families, conducting official Family Support Plan meetings for the child/family including periodic updates, transition meetings, and exit staffings. Service Coordinator is responsible for writing case notes for both tracking of activities and for Medicaid targeted case management billing.
