About The Position

The Service Coordinator - Speech position is a full-time role focused on supporting the administrators of the Early Intervention Program. The primary responsibilities include child find, evaluation, and the coordination of special education services for young children. This role requires regular travel within Lancaster & Lebanon Counties and involves specific physical requirements related to assisting and handling young children.

Requirements

• Master's degree preferred OR significant classroom experience in lieu of Master's degree.
• PA Certification in Special Education with a grade scope that includes PreK.
• Minimum of three years of experience.
• Regular travel to locations using a personal vehicle is required.
• The strength and ability to lift and/or assist in lifting pupils of ages ranging from pre-school to the age of beginners and their assistive appliances.
• Considerable bending, stooping, and squatting must be tolerated, as well as the ability to possibly restrain students in emotional stress.

Responsibilities

• Assist administrators of the Early Intervention Program with child find.
• Conduct evaluations for young children.
• Coordinate special education services for young children.
