Service Coordinator / Dispatcher

Medical Application Repair & SalesLexington, SC
Onsite

About The Position

MARS Med is a medical equipment distribution and service company based in Lexington, SC, serving healthcare facilities across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. We sell, install, and service critical equipment — patient monitors, sterilizers, anesthesia machines, defibrillators, and more — and our field service team keeps that equipment running for the surgery centers, hospitals, and clinics that depend on it. We're looking for a sharp, dependable Service Coordinator to be the hub of our service operation. You'll be the first voice customers hear, the person who turns a phone call into a service ticket, and the one who gets the right technician to the right place at the right time. You'll also keep our parts and inventory organized so our techs always have what they need. This is a fast-paced, detail-heavy role — for the right person, it's the backbone of the whole company.

Requirements

  • Reliable. You show up, you follow through, and nobody has to chase you.
  • Organized. You can juggle ten things at once without losing track of any of them.
  • Calm under pressure. A backed-up phone and three urgent dispatches don't rattle you.
  • Detail-oriented. You get the ticket right, the part number right, the address right.
  • A clear communicator. You're comfortable on the phone and you write a clean, professional email.
  • Tech-comfortable. You can learn our software (Salesforce, NetSuite, Shopify) and actually use it well.
  • 2+ years in dispatch, customer service, scheduling, inventory, or administrative coordination
  • Strong computer skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or a similar CRM/ERP is a big plus
  • Experience in medical, healthcare, field service, or logistics is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and emails from customers, vendors, and field techs — professionally and quickly
  • Open, document, and track service cases and work orders in Salesforce
  • Dispatch field technicians, coordinating schedules, locations, and priorities across SC, NC, and GA
  • Follow up on open cases so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Manage parts and equipment inventory in NetSuite — receiving, tracking, cycle counts, and reorder flags
  • Coordinate parts orders and shipments so techs aren't left waiting
  • Keep customers updated on status and keep records accurate and current
  • Support the sales and service teams with quotes, paperwork, and day-to-day coordination
