Maintains all service department records and reporting. Prepares price sheets for all repair orders, creates work orders, and establishes customer files. Determines appropriate charges for materials and labor, reviews and maintains repair orders for accuracy and completeness, and assists with warranty claims and manufacturer claim forms. Assists in maintaining an organized service library of bulletins and reference material. Processes records of parts requisitions, parts invoices, material invoices, and outside labor invoices for proper accounting. Maintains and reviews daily attendance records and assigned daily time records against each work order. Communicates and coordinates work schedules with Service Technicians, assists customers with repair and service orders, and helps schedule and reschedule service work. Assists in resolving work performance or billing inquiries and keeps the Service Manager informed on special parts orders, shortages, and malfunctions. Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to the company safety program. Also responsible for customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, resolving concerns efficiently, promoting a positive attitude, maintaining a professional appearance, exhibiting a high level of customer service, and acknowledging client appreciation.
