About The Position

Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Service Claims Adjuster! This role involves investigating and processing damaged and defective Product and Customer ONE Guarantee Claims as submitted by KMBS Authorized Dealers. The adjuster will identify partial payments by carriers to dealers, coordinate closure to ensure accurate dealer freight payments, and track damaged products sold to dealers via the Parts Purchase process. Responsibilities also include ensuring timely follow-up with dealers on non-returned products, coordinating damaged/defective product pick-ups by freight carriers, and resolving dealer/KM invoicing issues. The role requires working with KM Logistics and warehouse teams to verify insurance reimbursements on damaged, returned products and equipment. The Service Claims Adjuster will be responsible for providing timely and accurate monthly reports on damaged and defective product claims and units purchased for parts by dealers, and resolving freight disputes between KM dealers and KM Authorized carriers. Additionally, the role involves resolving outstanding returns by sending letters to Dealer Service Managers for non-returned, claimed products and handling Printer Exchange Requests from GCS.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or technical/business school degree preferred, High School diploma required
  • 2+ Years in a related function (Service/billing, claims adjusting) and/or Copier/printing industry experience is strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of work experience in Customer Service (telephonic or in person) required
  • Proficiency with M365 suite, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong SAP experience, or demonstrated ability to learn SAP or similar systems, required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Very strong attention to detail, time management and organization skills required
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Strong Customer Centric support mindset required

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and process all damaged and defective Product and Customer ONE Guarantee Claims as submitted by KMBS Authorized Dealers in SAP as received via Service-Related portal in mykonicaminolta.com
  • Identify partial payments by carriers to dealers and coordinate closure to ensure that dealer freight payments are accurate to KM orders.
  • Track and address any damaged products sold to dealers via Parts Purchase process. Ensure timely follow-up with dealers on all non-returned product(s).
  • Coordinate damaged/defective product pick-ups by freight carriers and resolve any dealer/KM invoicing issues.
  • Work with KM Logistics and warehouse teams to verify insurance reimbursements on damaged, returned products, accessories including all damaged equipment from Hytec.
  • Responsible for providing timely and accurate monthly reports of all damaged and defective product claims and units purchased for parts by dealers and resolving freight disputes between KM dealers and KM Authorized carriers to ensure dealers are not losing on product damages.
  • Resolving any outstanding returns by sending letters to Dealer Service Managers for non-returned, claimed products
  • Handle Printer Exchange Requests from GCS & Other related duties as required
