About The Position

This role is an entry-level, individual contributor that supports Service & Repair by troubleshooting complaints & performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and verification testing of capital medical devices. Working under general supervision, this role performs repair operations and ensures adherence to regulatory and company health, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of electrical components
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to perform problem solving tasks & use test equipment, hand tools, and fixtures

Nice To Haves

  • Technical Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years of related experience in the Medical Device industry or other regulated fields

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, disassembly/reassembly, calibration, functional and safety testing, and resolve equipment problems for surgery products.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation while ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality, and company policies.
  • Support service operations by assisting with equipment validation, resolving non-conforming product issues, maintaining inventory, and meeting service goals.
  • Follow all safety requirements and collaborate with team members to identify equipment issues, communicate concerns, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
