Under direct supervision, the Service Technician II repairs, services, and builds standard and custom systems for hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. This role involves performing maintenance on assigned customer products that come through the service shop, disassembling, cleaning, and inspecting system components for repair. The technician will diagnose system components, recommend solutions to customers, and prepare job forms listing necessary parts and work. Additionally, the role includes designing, fabricating, machining, and welding parts and components, as well as repairing and assembling hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. Testing repaired equipment for performance and preparing it for shipment or storage are key responsibilities. The technician will also assist customers by answering technical questions and may provide quotes or take customer orders. Other duties as assigned.
