About The Position

This position is responsible for sample receipt, preparation of supplies, and shipping-related duties for all clients, supporting the Sample Logistics Team. It also includes various administrative functions.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
Ability to work independently as well as engage others when required in escalation of concerns to meet the client needs or to best manage client disappointments
Energetic and keen with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking, prioritizing and adapting to changes are required

Nice To Haves

Experience in a laboratory environment is considered an asset

Responsibilities

Greet all clients in a friendly, positive manner
Receive all external client samples
Repack samples and arrange for shipments of all samples to the fixed labs
Coordinate with external providers such as courier services and hot-shots when required
Ensure proper daily communication of sample shipments to the fixed labs
Prepare bottle orders requests and coordinate delivery of bottle orders
Recognize routine and non-routine problems and escalate to the Supervisor
Ensure supply inventories are maintained
Proactively ensure overall satisfaction of regional client base including communication to project management and supervisor as appropriate
Work closely with outside sales staff to grow Bureau Veritas’s market share with existing and new clients
Monitor/Calibrate the temperatures of fridges, thermometers and temperature guns
Adhere to Bureau Veritas’ quality systems QA/QC, SOPs and external accreditation requirements
Adhere to Bureau Veritas’ safety policies
All other responsibilities as assigned
