About The Position

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Service Center Coordinator to support the Regional Maintenance Center within ARINC’s Radio Technology Solutions group. This role helps keep service center operations moving by coordinating shipping and receiving activity, maintaining accurate equipment and inventory records, and supporting the administrative processes behind customer and maintenance work. You will work directly with internal teams, customers, shipping providers, and vendors to ensure equipment, parts, documentation, and service activity are tracked accurately from receipt through completion. In this position, you will manage domestic and international shipments, create and update work tickets, track inventory in Costpoint, support procurement activities, and coordinate equipment repairs and calibrations with outside vendors. You will also assist with annual inventory audits, task and cost tracking, billing documentation, and front office coverage as needed. The role is well suited for someone who enjoys combining detailed administrative work with hands-on coordination and wants visibility into the day-to-day operations that keep a technical service center organized, responsive, and ready to support its customers. This position works a daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. This is an onsite role in New Hyde Park, NY.

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience supporting supply inventory, inventory control, or related inventory activities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipping and receiving activities, including accurate logging and tracking of equipment
  • Create, update, and maintain work tickets within the designated work management system
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers and logistics vendors to support timely equipment movement and resolve shipping-related issues
  • Support procurement activities, including ordering parts, supplies, and equipment needed for service center operations
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within Costpoint and support ongoing inventory control activities
  • Partner with headquarters and local stakeholders to support the annual inventory audit
  • Coordinate with external vendors for the repair, maintenance, and calibration of test equipment
  • Assist the Service Center Manager with tracking work activities, documenting associated costs, and maintaining information required for customer billing.
  • Process invoices and other documentation for payment
  • Provide front office support, including greeting customers, answering phone calls, and directing inquiries appropriately
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and correspondence
  • Prepare and maintain business correspondence, records, forms, and other administrative documentation
  • Create and maintain electronic and physical project files in accordance with established office procedures
  • Use Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, to organize information, format reports, maintain records, and present data
