About The Position

Sapp Bros. is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join its team in Tocquerville, Utah. This full-time role serves customers in a fast-paced diesel maintenance environment by assisting with vehicle service needs and managing service tickets. The advisor manages the service process from initial customer contact through completion, coordinates work with technicians, supports parts and fleet customers, and helps ensure a smooth and efficient experience for customers and the shop team. The position is for evenings and weekends, with starting pay of $15.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of previous experience in a service advisor or service writer role (preferred).
Strong typing skills and the ability to work with computer applications.
A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Ability to perform basic math and use an adding machine.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide professional, courteous customer service and build strong relationships.
Manage the service process from initial customer contact through completion.
Write and oversee work orders, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
Assign work to technicians and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
Handle incoming calls and customer inquiries efficiently.
Assist with parts, inventory, and over-the-counter sales.
Support fleet account customers as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out compliance.
