About The Position

Stevinson Toyota East is seeking a Cashier to join their team. This role involves greeting customers, answering phone calls, determining the nature of their business, and directing them to the appropriate department or individual. The Cashier will also handle basic inquiries, take messages, and provide basic information to callers. Additionally, the position includes cash handling duties, closing repair orders, and assisting with clerical tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre employment screening (background and drug).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, managers, and coworkers.
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Previous dealership experience is helpful.
• Bilingual (English language required).

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and answers incoming phone calls at the dealership.
• Determines the nature of customer business and directs callers to their destination.
• Answers basic inquiries, routes incoming calls, takes messages, and provides basic information to all callers.
• Answers incoming phone calls and directs them to the appropriate department or individual or takes a thorough message.
• Communicates with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Communicates messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
• Performs cash handling duties.
• Closes repair orders.
• Assists with clerical duties as requested.
