About The Position

The Service Biller supports the service team by providing warranty knowledge and information, assisting with warranty claim approvals, checking vehicle and repair order compliance, and ensuring repair documentation is complete and accurate. The role also handles service billing and payment processes, rental coordination, and internal vehicle tasks while working with teammates to deliver a positive customer experience. Requirements

Two years of experience in an automotive dealership.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Past experience working with a high level of urgency.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience interacting with customers and providing a positive experience.
High level of detail orientation and accuracy.
Beginner-to-intermediate technical proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Proven experience working within a team environment.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills; preference may be given to candidates with these skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the service team with warranty knowledge and information.
Contact extended warranty companies to obtain claim approval.
Check vehicle and Repair Order (RO) information for compliance.
Ensure supporting documentation for repairs is attached to repair orders.
Correct labor operations, symptoms, and defect codes.
Confirm technician repair documentation accurately reflects the cause, concern, and correction (3 C’s).
Book tickets after customers have left and ensure payment has been received.
Help process P2P (Open Invoice) payables.
Work with teammates to help ensure customers receive the best possible experience.
Ensure the rental process is followed and completed, including rental cleanliness upon return, daily updates on rental days, and processing damage claims.
Write up and close Pre-Delivery vehicles.
Coordinate pickup and delivery of internal vehicles.
Update the Used Vehicle Team on internal repair orders.
Wear safety eyewear, hard-toed shoes, and slip-resistant footwear in dealership service departments.
Perform other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned.
