Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials, with capability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory management systems and ability to read and interpret packing slips and work orders
- Strong attention to detail for accurate record keeping and transaction processing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assignments in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse or materials handling experience
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse management systems
- Previous forklift/high-low operation experience
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
- Inventory control or supply chain background
- Customer service experience in business-to-business settings
Responsibilities
- Complete the Worker Safety Engagement process daily and maintain all required safety and operational documentation
- Operate flatbed burden carriers and forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility, unload delivery vehicles, and prepare outbound shipments
- Monitor Point of Use (POU) areas for empty bins and coordinate timely crib replenishment to support continuous production
- Review packing slips, verify material counts, and process transactions accurately in the SAP system
- Fill customer orders, verify balance on hand quantities, and report discrepancies to your Supervisor for resolution
- Perform daily Workplace Organization (WPO) and cleaning of assigned work areas to maintain a safe, organized environment
- Interface professionally with plant customers and team members to fulfill supply runs, label runs, and additional tasks as assigned
