About The Position

The Service Assistant works with other members of the service team to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. The role requires adapting to a rapidly changing workload and prioritizing tasks. It offers an opportunity to gain experience, learn, and develop a career in the automotive industry. The position provides a world-class customer experience to internal and external Lucid clients and supports vehicle movements, service operations, and basic shop tasks.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have basic automotive knowledge.
• Be willing to obtain forklift certification after hire.
• Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Be willing to work full-time, including weekends or extended hours during busy periods.
• Be willing to complete Lucid-provided CPR training after hire.
• Have a valid driver's license with no suspensions within the past year.
• Drivers under 21 must have held a driver's license for at least three years and successfully complete Lucid training upon hire.
• Successfully complete a drug test and background check, including motor vehicle records, where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide a world-class customer experience to internal and external Lucid clients.
• Drive vehicles, including dropping off or picking up customer vehicles and loaners, making trips to the body shop, and test-charging vehicles at Electrify America stations.
• Arrange Lyft rides for internal vehicle moves upon request.
• Assist with Pre-Delivery Inspection carrier preparation and vehicle handover.
• Help with the check-in process when needed.
• Assist technicians with basic repairs in the shop.
• Perform other assigned duties, including moving and staging vehicles, delivering parts, washing vehicles, and assisting the service department as needed.
