About The Position

The Service Assistant works with other members of the service team to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. The role requires adapting to a rapidly changing workload and prioritizing tasks. It offers an opportunity to gain experience, learn, and develop a career in the automotive industry. The position provides support across vehicle movements and handovers, customer service, basic shop assistance, and other service department needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic automotive knowledge.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification after hire.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training after hire.
• Valid driver's license with no suspensions within the past year.
• Drivers under 21 must have held a driver's license for at least three years and successfully complete Lucid training upon hire.
• Availability for full-time work, including weekends or extended hours during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide a world-class customer experience to internal and external Lucid clients.
• Drive vehicles to drop off or pick up customer vehicles and loaners, make runs to the body shop, and test charging at Electrify America stations, among other vehicle-related tasks.
• Arrange Lyft rides for internal vehicle moves upon request.
• Assist with Pre-Delivery Inspection carrier preparation and vehicle handover.
• Assist with the check-in process when needed.
• Assist technicians with basic repairs in the shop.
• Move and stage vehicles, deliver parts, wash vehicles, and assist the service department as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
