About The Position

Under supervision, tests, verifies, calibrates, and performs basic testing and troubleshooting on circuit boards, sub-assemblies, and ultrasound probes to ensure they perform to specifications. The role supports GE HealthCare’s active imaging systems, which help surgeons visualize anatomy and lesions, guide interventions, and navigate inside the human body. The successful candidate must be willing to decontaminate ultrasound probes returned from the field and perform tasks at a workstation using a microscope. Requirements

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Familiarity with the basic functions of digital multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes, frequency counters, and signal generators.
Some understanding of analog and digital circuit theory, Ohm’s law, power formulas, passive filters, and basic semiconductors.
Basic computer skills.
Good hand-eye coordination while using a microscope and good manual dexterity.
Ability to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods and complete tasks using a microscope.
Legally authorized to work in the United States; GE HealthCare will not sponsor employment visas for this opening.
Successful completion of a drug screen, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Two-year technical degree or equivalent certified training or experience.
