About The Position

The Service & Parts Seasonal Support position supports the overall operation of the Parts and Service departments by providing customer service, assisting with parts handling and parts delivery, supporting service technicians, turf pickups and deliveries, and performing facility/yard maintenance and equipment-related tasks. This role is essential in maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe dealership environment while delivering excellent service to both customers and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Ability to perform a variety of duties in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills (data entry and dealership systems)
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Must have a clean MVR, and be able to drive TNE-owned vehicles
  • Must be at least 18 years of age for driving purposes
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with peers and leadership
  • Represent True North Equipment in a positive and professional manner
  • Follow all safety policies to ensure a safe working environment
  • Understand and adhere to TNE customer data policies and procedures
  • All hires must pass a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screening

  • Basic knowledge of equipment, parts, and safety procedures preferred

Responsibilities

  • Washing new and used equipment using mobile or in-shop systems
  • Assisting with turf equipment pickups and deliveries
  • Performing basic facility and grounds maintenance (snow removal, lot upkeep, etc.)
  • Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of the facility, service vehicles, and trailers
  • Supporting shop organization, equipment movement, and minor repairs
  • Operating forklifts, pay loaders, and other equipment (as trained)
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area and tool room
  • Following all safety protocols and company procedures
  • Representing True North Equipment with professionalism in all interactions
  • Supplying service technicians with parts accurately and efficiently
  • Supporting parts deliveries to customers and between dealership locations as needed
  • Verifying shipments and reporting shortages or discrepancies
  • May support after-hours parts picking as needed
  • May assist in maintaining a clean, organized parts department and showroom during peak seasons
  • May assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing parts as needed
