The primary duties are to work with dairy farm customers to service equipment, install equipment, provide emergency service and preventative maintenance. This role involves assessing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing dairy milking, refrigeration, and manure equipment. The technician is responsible for making all assigned service calls professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and value for hours billed. They will troubleshoot milking systems to NMC standards, maintain customer rapport by addressing complaints and suggesting improvements, and work on-call, including evenings and weekends. The position also requires working as part of an installation team, completing paperwork daily, maintaining a clean service vehicle and job site, and adhering to all company safety policies. The employee will use and maintain MLS tools and equipment, provide their own hand tools, and be forward-thinking in planning work. Attendance at technical training schools and other educational sessions is expected. Other duties may be assigned.
