Service Analyst - Crushing Equipment
About The Position
ICM Solutions delivers comprehensive heavy equipment and production solutions to the aggregate and mining industries. They are seeking a Service Analyst to enhance their service organization and provide support to crushing technicians in the field and shop. This role is for an experienced crushing and screening equipment specialist who excels at diagnosing complex issues and guiding others. The Service Analyst will act as a primary technical resource (subject matter expert) for service technicians and customers, assisting with troubleshooting advanced problems, improving repair quality, and strengthening overall technical capability. This is an opportunity for someone with deep hands-on experience in crushing equipment to move into a high-impact, expert-level role.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on crushing & screening equipment repair (REQUIRED)
- Expert-level troubleshooting in heavy equipment systems
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical diagnostics
- Ability to read and interpret complex schematics
- Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and specialty equipment
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and ability to support and mentor others
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical card (under 26,000 GVW vehicles)
- Willingness to travel (out of state when needed) and work flexible hours including weekends/on-call
- Must maintain personal tools, up to ¾” drive
- Commitment to safety and clean work standards
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for crushing and screening equipment
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support to field and shop technicians, as well as customers
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues
- Interpret and apply electrical and hydraulic schematics in real-world scenarios
- Partner with OEMs to resolve difficult equipment problems
- Travel to job sites for diagnostics, commissioning, setup, and decommissioning; rapid response to field locations for break downs when service technicians are unavailable
- Mentor and train technicians—acting as a hands-on technical coach
- Identify correct replacement parts and ensure repair accuracy
- Maintain service readiness of tools, equipment, and response vehicles
- Deliver excellent customer communication and build strong client relationships
- Uphold strict safety standards, including LOTO compliance
- Maintain rapid response vehicle
