About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves leading and coordinating daily portable crushing operations across multiple sites in Southeast PA, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The Lead Person will operate, monitor, and troubleshoot crushing and screening equipment, train and coach crew members, and conduct inspections and coordinate basic maintenance to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to lead crews in heavy equipment or aggregate operations environments
• Strong working knowledge of crushing, screening, and material processing equipment
• Commitment to safety leadership and proactive hazard identification
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills in dynamic, mobile work settings
• Ability to adapt to changing job sites, schedules, and operational priorities
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination
• Successful candidate must submit to drug/alcohol screen, and background check
