About The Position
Provides direction to employees including assigning work; following up for completion and accuracy; and adherence to company policies, practices and processes. Assists employees with work related questions and problems. Provides guidance and problem solving when issues arise. Facilitates training to ensure team members understand and utilize established processes and practices. Provides update to supervisor or manager on department progress Partners with supervisor or manager to address work related and employee relations concerns Ability to attend work regularly and on a timely manner Ability to perform work with accuracy Ability to learn and use various warehouse management programs Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by your manager or supervisor
Requirements
- Ability to plan, assign, and direct work
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and in an effective manner
- Able to collaborate with employees at all levels
- Able to read and interpret documents such as shipping documents, bills of lading, reports, safety rules/procedures, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Basic mathematic skills- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fraction, and decimals
- Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
