About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Service Advisor to join the Kendal Hyundai of Boise Service team. This role is crucial in serving clients and ensuring customer satisfaction within a fast-paced service department. The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact for customers in the service department, aiming to build lifelong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, time management abilities, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills, with the capacity to make prioritized recommendations for vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Requirements

  • High level customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated time management skills.
  • Strong work ethics.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to make recommendations and prioritize items in order of importance for customers.
  • Knowledge of automobile repair and maintenance.
  • 2 years of service writing experience in a dealership or independent shop.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Interfacing with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Verifying that work performed and diagnosed by technicians was done properly.
  • Researching vehicle history to make educated recommendations.
  • Inputting and maintaining customer information.
  • Completing work tasks in an efficient and organized manner.
  • Using telephone, email, and chat systems to communicate with customers throughout the day.
  • Scheduling service appointments.
