About The Position

Blaine Brothers Family of Companies is seeking a 1st shift Service Advisor for their Trailer Shop in Blaine, MN. This role involves the day-to-day supervision of shift operations and technicians. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, be detail-oriented, willing to assist where needed, possess strong computer skills, and have a great work ethic. Requirements

  • Repair and shop operation knowledge with a strong technical aptitude
  • Strong communication skills – both verbally and written
  • Ability to train technicians at varying levels of experience, skillset and learning styles
  • Able to receive feedback on operations from peers, subordinates and manager and respond in a productive and constructive manner with a focus on solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills – knowledge of Karmak, a plus
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the technicians
  • Evaluate technician’s skillset and provide training as needed.
  • Assist technicians in locating parts / job related issues
  • Schedule shift work
  • Call in customer repairs and approvals / unit updates
  • Organize shift with parts to pick up and vehicles for repair
  • Create, estimate (if needed) and invoice repair orders in a timely manner
  • Related activities that promote the goals of the Organization.
