About The Position

Tonkin Hillsboro Chevrolet is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Advisor to join their growing team. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, responsible for understanding service needs, coordinating repairs, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from check-in to vehicle delivery.

Requirements

Previous automotive service advisor experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer proficiency
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to build trust and rapport with customers
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally
Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
Recommend maintenance and repair services based on customer needs and manufacturer guidelines
Prepare estimates and explain repair recommendations clearly
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate repairs
Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
Review completed work and invoices with customers
Maintain strong customer satisfaction scores and retention
Follow dealership processes and manufacturer standards
Assist in achieving department sales and service goals
