About The Position

Suburban Ford of Romeo is looking for a battle-tested Service Advisor who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and knows how to turn service lanes into profit while keeping customers loyal for life. As a Service Advisor, you are the quarterback of the service drive. You will initiate automotive services and repairs by diagnosing vehicle performance concerns and service requests quickly and accurately, verifying warranty and service contract coverage, developing clear estimates, writing repair orders, and acting as the single point of contact between customer and technician. You will also communicate additional services, administer manufacturer warranty repairs, keep customers informed, and maintain accurate customer records. This role demands confidence, urgency, and accountability.

Requirements

  • Previous Service Advisor experience (strongly preferred)
  • Solid mechanical understanding of modern vehicles
  • Ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and consistently
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior automotive technician experience is a major plus
  • A team-first mentality with a relentless focus on customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing vehicle performance concerns and service requests quickly and accurately
  • Verifying warranty and service contract coverage without hesitation
  • Developing clear, confident estimates for labor, parts, and materials
  • Writing repair orders, securing approvals, and entering ROs into the service system
  • Acting as the single point of contact between customer and technician
  • Ensuring technicians fully understand customer concerns and customers clearly understand recommended repairs
  • Communicating additional services identified through inspections—professionally and persuasively
  • Administering manufacturer warranty repairs correctly and efficiently
  • Keeping customers informed on completion times, costs, and service specials
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and protecting CSI at all times
