Service Advisor - Truck Care

About The Position

Service Advisors drive sales success in Love’s Truck Care facilities through salesmanship, leadership, and customer service. They are key members of management, combining technical and managerial skills to lead service centers and progress toward becoming a Truck Care General Manager. The role involves assisting customers with vehicle service needs, providing repair estimates and updates, resolving concerns, and helping maintain facility operations.

Requirements

Six months of customer service or sales experience is preferred.
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer satisfaction focus.
Strong customer service, rapport-building, and salesmanship skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
Effective teamwork skills.
Ability to use various computer programs, systems, and technology tools in daily operations.
Must be able to talk, hear, move around, lift up to 50 pounds, see clearly to perform job duties, and work in various temperatures.

Maintain a safe and clean facility.
Greet customers, address vehicle service needs, and document issues.
Provide detailed repair cost estimates and sales promotions, and obtain necessary approvals and payments.
Keep customers updated on vehicle status and explain completed work comprehensively.
Handle customer complaints and resolve concerns.
Collaborate with managers in talent acquisition efforts.
Manage operations and employee-vehicle deployment to help ensure customer satisfaction.
