About The Position

RWC Group Fairbanks is seeking a motivated Service Advisor to join our growing team. This role serves as the critical link between customers and the service department, ensuring commercial fleets, contractors, municipalities, utility companies, and owner-operators operate safely and efficiently. This position offers a career opportunity beyond typical automotive service, working with significant Alaskan businesses and a leading commercial truck dealership. Experience in automotive service, heavy equipment, fleet maintenance, transportation, parts sales, or dealership operations is beneficial, and training is provided for the right candidate. Automotive Service Advisors, Equipment Dealership Personnel, Fleet Maintenance Coordinators, and Parts Professionals are strongly encouraged to apply. Commercial truck experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for service customers
  • Creating and maintaining repair orders
  • Communicating repair recommendations, estimates, and timelines
  • Coordinating workflow between customers, technicians, and parts personnel
  • Scheduling service work and maximizing shop productivity
  • Monitoring repair progress and keeping customers informed
  • Assisting with warranty administration and service documentation
  • Supporting customer satisfaction and department performance goals
  • Resolving customer concerns professionally and effectively
  • Building long-term relationships with customers and fleet accounts
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with coworkers and manufacturer representatives
