As a Service Advisor, you serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and the service department. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role that requires professionalism, empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee the service experience from arrival to delivery, ensure accurate communication between customers and technicians, and help deliver a smooth, high-quality customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, and working in a performance-driven environment where customer satisfaction matters.

Requirements

  • Proven customer service experience required (automotive or service-related preferred)
  • Previous Service Advisor experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and repair preferred
  • Comfortable using dealership systems and computer applications
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and ensure a welcoming, professional first impression across the service drive
  • Listen actively to customer concerns and document vehicle issues accurately and thoroughly
  • Clearly explain recommended services, diagnostics, timelines, and costs in easy-to-understand terms
  • Coordinate closely with technicians and the parts department to ensure efficient workflow
  • Monitor vehicle progress and provide proactive updates to customers throughout the repair process
  • Present service recommendations with transparency, integrity, and professionalism
  • Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any remaining concerns
  • Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
  • Uphold dealership and manufacturer standards, policies, and procedures
