About The Position

The Service Advisor is responsible for inspecting vehicles to determine necessary repairs. This role involves visually inspecting vehicles, preparing repair estimates, explaining the repair process to customers, and communicating with insurance companies. The Service Advisor also handles the total loss process, performs quality control inspections, and delivers the repaired vehicle to the customer, ensuring all safety standards and procedures are followed.

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Prior automotive collision estimating experience.
  • Experience with preparing estimates in CCC One preferred.
  • Proficient with a computer and software.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicles to determine the extent of body, structural, mechanical, or interior damage.
  • Prepare estimates for vehicle repairs.
  • Explain the repair process to customers.
  • Communicate with customers and insurance companies regarding damages and obtain repair authorization.
  • Complete vehicle check-in with the customer.
  • Explain and communicate the repair process, estimated repair time, and any updates to the customer.
  • Handle the total loss process.
  • Perform final Quality Control inspection.
  • Deliver the vehicle to the customer upon completion of repair work.
  • Comply with all TCC’s safety standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
