About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Service Advisor to join the Kendal Hyundai of Nampa Service team. This role is crucial in building lifelong service customers by being the first point of contact in the service department. The ideal candidate will possess high-level customer service skills, excellent time management, a strong work ethic, and effective communication abilities. The ability to make recommendations and prioritize vehicle repairs and maintenance for customers is essential. This is a full-time position within a fast-paced service department environment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of automobile repair and maintenance.
  • 2 years of service writing experience in a dealership or independent shop.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A good driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Specific brand experience (Hyundai preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Interfacing with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Verifying that work performed and diagnosed by technicians was done properly.
  • Researching vehicle history to make educated recommendations.
  • Inputting and maintaining customer information.
  • Completing work tasks in an efficient and organized manner.
  • Using telephone, email, and chat systems to communicate with customers throughout the day.
  • Scheduling service appointments.
