Automotive Service Advisor Position Overview We are seeking a customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth service experience from check-in to vehicle delivery. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer experience preferred
  • Experience with CDK (Dealer Management System) required
  • Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple repair orders
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow in the automotive industry
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Requirement of Multi-Factor Authentication apps on cell phone

Responsibilities

  • Greet every customer promptly with a professional and welcoming attitude
  • Verify and update customer information (phone, email, etc.)
  • Accurately gather and document vehicle concerns
  • Write clear, detailed repair orders for technicians
  • Perform a visual inspection of vehicles and document condition
  • Communicate effectively with technicians regarding repairs
  • Provide accurate estimates and explain recommended services
  • Ensure all work aligns with warranty and company guidelines
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the repair process
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
  • Build strong relationships to encourage repeat and referral business
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction scores
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and service processes
