About The Position

Autopark Honda has an outstanding opportunity for a Service Advisor to join their team and the Holman family! Our Service Advisor is responsible for serving as a liaison between the Service Department technicians and the parts department by maintaining customer satisfaction. This role involves greeting customers, providing an outstanding guest experience, determining the course of action for service needs, obtaining customer authorization, writing up service needs, and giving customers accurate estimates for costs and completion times. The Service Advisor must communicate effectively with customers to achieve satisfactory repairs and sell necessary repair or maintenance services. They will also need knowledge of warranty and service/insurance policies, keep customers informed of their vehicle's prognosis, call customers to set appointments, and answer telephones in a timely manner. Attending and completing required training and department meetings is also part of the role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • One year of related service writing experience.
  • Current valid driver’s license
  • Good reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work retail hours with Saturday availability
  • Computer proficient

Responsibilities

  • Meet & greet customers with courtesy and efficiency.
  • Provide an outstanding guest experience.
  • Determine the course of action to take and obtain customer authorization.
  • Write up service needs and give customer accurate estimate for dollar amount and completion time of work.
  • Communicate effectively with customer, to achieve satisfactory repairs, sale of necessary repair, or maintenance to vehicles.
  • Keep customer informed and advise customer of the prognosis of their vehicle.
  • Call customers to set appointments and answer telephones at a timely manner.
  • Attend/complete required training and department meetings.
