About The Position

Ronnie Watkins Ford has a highly awarded service department with very loyal customers and a lot of business! This is a rare opening to join our team! The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include greeting customers, listening to their needs, and scheduling appointments. They may also set up loaner/rental cars and verify insurance before service is scheduled.

Requirements

  • Previous experience is a plus but not a necessity
  • Knowledge of automobiles
  • Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Very energetic personality
  • A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly
  • Obtain accurate customer and vehicle information
  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Establish follow up time
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers
