About The Position

J.C. Lewis Motor Company is seeking a Main Shop Service Advisor for their Hinesville location. This role serves as the primary point of contact for service customers, managing the entire service experience from greeting customers to coordinating service and explaining recommendations. The ideal candidate will ensure customers feel informed, respected, and confident in their vehicle's care. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented position suitable for individuals who enjoy helping others, staying organized, and maintaining efficiency. Candidates with backgrounds in customer service, retail, hospitality, or the restaurant industry are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid time management and organizational skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with dealership standards
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check
  • Must be at least 19 years of age

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers in the service drive
  • Coordinate and manage service appointments, walk-ins, and workflow to ensure efficient operations
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding vehicle status, recommended services, timelines, and next steps
  • Write repair orders and explain the service process in a professional, customer-friendly manner
  • Manage and distribute technician work efficiently to support productivity and timely service
  • Take ownership of the customer experience by providing accurate, timely, and courteous support
  • Work closely with technicians and service leadership to deliver consistent, high-quality results
