About The Position

Shoals Outdoor Sports, a large volume dealer for powersport, lawn equipment, and marine products, is seeking to expand its staff to provide excellent customer service to its growing customer base. The ideal candidate is a hard-working, career-minded, self-starting individual with a passion for the ATV/UTV community and Polaris products. The role requires strong customer interaction skills, promptness, effective communication between staff and customers, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to thrive in an energetic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Greeting customers and documenting all vehicle concerns and information.
  • Consulting with mechanics about necessary repairs and alternative solutions.
  • Selling or providing in-depth information about available parts and service options to customers, leveraging product knowledge.
  • Answering customer questions regarding service outcomes, scheduling appointments, and managing vehicle drop-off and pick-up.
  • Informing customers about warranty protections, required repairs, and necessary maintenance.
  • Overseeing the service department's workflow and schedule.
  • Contacting customers to inform them about service changes or vehicle pick-up times.
  • Maintaining positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Communicating all service details and costs to customers and processing payments.
  • Coordinating with service technicians on parts ordering and availability.
  • Submitting and obtaining approval for repairs from factory and extended warranty providers.
  • Searching digital catalogs for needed parts, and ordering them if not in stock.
  • Ensuring all details on services rendered and costs are related to customers and processing their payments.
