About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Service Advisor to join their Service team at Ford and Mazda of Bend. This role is crucial as Service Advisors are the first point of contact for customers in the service department, aiming to build lifelong customer relationships. The position operates in a fast-paced environment, serving a large, loyal customer base. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service, time management, work ethic, and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize customer needs and make informed recommendations for vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Requirements

• High level customer service experience.

• Ability to make recommendations and prioritize items in order of importance for customers.
• A valid driver's license.
• A good driving record.

• Knowledge of automobile repair and maintenance.
• 2 years of service writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Verifying that work performed and diagnosed by technicians was done properly.
• Researching vehicle history to make educated recommendations.
• Inputting and maintaining customer information.
• Completing work tasks in an efficient and organized manner.
• Using telephone, email, and chat systems to communicate with customers throughout the day.
• Scheduling service appointments.
