About The Position

The Service Advisor is responsible for inspecting vehicles to determine necessary repairs. This role involves visually inspecting vehicles, determining the extent of damage (body, structural, mechanical, or interior), preparing repair estimates, and communicating the repair process and any updates to customers. The Service Advisor also handles customer insurance inquiries, obtains repair authorization, manages the total loss process, and performs final quality control inspections before delivering the vehicle to the customer. Adherence to TCC's safety standards, guidelines, and procedures is required, along with performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Prior automotive collision estimating experience.
  • Experience with preparing estimates in CCC One preferred.
  • Proficient with a computer and software.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and determine repairs needed by visually inspecting a vehicle.
  • Examine damage to determine the extent of body, structural, mechanical, or interior damage.
  • Prepare estimates to repair vehicle.
  • Explain repair process to customers.
  • Communicate with customers insurance related to damages and obtain repair authorization.
  • Complete vehicle check-in with customer.
  • Explain and communicate repair process, estimated repair time and any updates with the customer.
  • Handle total loss process.
  • Perform final Quality Control inspection.
  • Upon completion of repair work, deliver vehicle to customer.
  • Comply with all TCC’s safety standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
