About The Position

Sunset Automotive Group, a locally and family-owned company with 10 brands at 11 locations across Sarasota and Manatee counties, is seeking a professional, experienced Service Advisor to join their elite team. This role is crucial as Service Advisors are the primary point of contact for dealership service departments and valued service clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and solid automotive knowledge to effectively bridge the gap between clients and the service team.

Strong automotive knowledge and experience required.

Experience advising automotive service customers and developing relationships with new and existing customers.
Reynolds & Reynolds and x-time experience.
Experience with luxury vehicle clients.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for automotive service customers, providing outstanding customer service.
Utilize active listening to understand customer vehicle issues and concerns.
Create repair orders and clearly communicate vehicle needs to service technicians.
Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customers.
Advise customers on and sell needed services.
Follow up on vehicles throughout the repair process, keeping customers informed.
Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and technicians at all times.
