About The Position
Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Service Advisor to join their Service team at Kendall Ford of Eugene. This role involves serving clients in a fast-paced environment, acting as the primary contact for customers in the service department, and building lifelong service customers. The position requires interfacing with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring work is performed correctly, making educated recommendations based on vehicle history, maintaining customer information, and efficiently managing tasks. Communication via telephone, email, and chat is essential for scheduling appointments and interacting with customers throughout the day.
Requirements
- 2 years of service writing experience
- Knowledge of automobile repair and maintenance
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- High level customer service experience
- Ability to demonstrate time management
- Strong work ethics
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to make recommendations and prioritize items in order of importance for customers
Responsibilities
- Interfacing with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Verifying work was properly performed and diagnosed
- Researching vehicle history to make educated recommendations
- Inputting and maintaining customer information
- Completing work tasks in an efficient and organized manner
