About The Position

The Service Account Manager acquires new preventive maintenance contract opportunities for HVAC systems in the Richmond, Virginia area. eTEC Mechanical is a full-service mechanical contractor that provides engineering, installation, and maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire protection systems to commercial and industrial customers. The role develops customer relationships and sells mechanical service solutions while coordinating with internal teams to support execution and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or five years of HVAC industry experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Career-minded.
• Must be able to stand, balance, climb stairs and ladders, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must successfully pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Identify new prospects and expand share within existing commercial accounts.
• Sell service agreements, repairs, modernizations, and digital/controls solutions.
• Advise facility managers and business owners on aligning HVAC performance with energy efficiency, uptime, and capital planning goals.
• Prepare cost estimates, price quotations, and formal contracts.
• Coordinate with internal service and project teams to support job execution, maintenance delivery, and customer satisfaction.
