About The Position

Hill's Resort is seeking energetic, guest-focused Servers and skilled, outgoing Bartenders to join their team. Both roles require individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments and are passionate about delivering personalized, memorable dining and drinking experiences. The ideal candidates will be attentive, adaptable, efficient, knowledgeable, organized, and engaging, with a genuine enjoyment for connecting with guests while maintaining accuracy and efficiency during high-volume service. Both positions require individuals to be 19 years of age or older.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

Previous serving or customer service experience preferred.
Previous bartending experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome diners/guests and build rapport to create a welcoming, personalized experience.
Guide guests through the menu, make thoughtful recommendations, and accommodate preferences or dietary needs.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly.
Monitor tables/bar guests proactively, anticipating guest needs and responding quickly to requests.
Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of tables and service areas/bar.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff.
Carry trays and deliver ordered items to correct tables/customers.
Complete side work such as: polishing silverware, polishing glassware, folding linen, regular cleaning of beverage machines, preparing side sauces, cleaning of server/bar areas, preparing drink garnishes, making drink mixes, restocking fridges, restocking paper items etc.
Take initiative to complete necessary tasks without needing to be directed.
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to support smooth service.
Verify the identification and age of customers.
Be comfortable monitoring and cutting off patrons.
Assist in the creation of cocktail specials.
Abide by all state liquor regulations.
